A+I, an award-winning, strategy-focused architecture and design firm, is looking for one of the best Architectural Visualist. We deeply believe that good design depends on the collaboration of our teams. As a key support to the project and business development teams, you will work closely with other team members, not only other architects, but also interior designers, strategists and brand designers and graphics. With your strong design and communication skills, you will play an important role in delivering meaningful, beautiful and integrated projects through well-managed processes and communication.

You will create impact by:

  • Embrace project goals and concepts and help develop a design that supports them.
  • Provide creative introduction to design ideas, both independently and with teams.
  • Offer and solicit constructive and clear critical design feedback.
  • Communicate complex ideas with clarity: visually, verbally and graphically.
  • Be passionate about design and have a point of view, while fostering design collaboration within your team and with office management.
  • Caring about the culture and people you work with as much as the project.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a design office or a visualization studio.
  • Advanced knowledge of 3ds Max, Vray and Photoshop
  • Proficiency in Rhino or Sketchup, Revit and Enscape
  • An interest in harnessing emerging technologies for more effective and efficient presentations
  • The ability to lead a project from start to finish. This includes lighting, texturing and post-production work.
  • An obsession with quality imagery, a desire to constantly learn and the drive to get there.
  • An ability to match the right outcome to the particular timeline and team/client expectations.
  • Currently living in the New York area
  • Excellent English communication and customer facing skills
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States, without the need for employee sponsorship

Responsibilities:

  • Create typically very polished high-definition renderings for a range of applications. This includes everything from client presentations to publications.
  • Work occasionally with design teams to create and execute successful projects, as a designer and not just as a renderer.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a design office or a visualization studio.
  • Advanced knowledge of 3ds Max, Vray and Photoshop
  • Proficiency in Rhino or Sketchup, Revit and Enscape
