Are you looking for something interesting and inspiring? Take the time to visit the Fine Art Summer Portfolio Class exhibit at County College of Morris (CCM) and take the opportunity to enter the creative world of talented budding artists. The best creative works of students who completed their portfolio class in the first semester of summer college sessions are presented.
The exhibition runs June 16-24 in the Art & Design Gallery located in the Learning Resource Center (LRC) on the CCM campus, 214 Center Grove Road, Randolph. A reception, free and open to the public, takes place on Thursday June 24 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
The Portfolio class represents the sum of the work of a student from two years of creative study in college.
“The Portfolio class offers students the opportunity to critique, improve and select their best work and create presentations and other media to market their creations to galleries, museums and potential clients,” notes the professor. Todd LW Doney, a nationally recognized artist who teaches drawing, painting, portfolio and presentation classes at CCM.
Visitors to the gallery must enter through the main entrance to the LRC. The opening hours of the gallery are Monday to Friday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
