The third “Art and Design Education: FutureLab” has opened at the West Bund Dome in Shanghai and will run until Sunday.
This year again, the FutureLab offers three main components: exhibitions, forums and workshops.
Almost 30 leading art and design schools from home and abroad participate in the exhibition section.
And more than 20 online and onsite forums and workshops will provide an active platform for posting, communication, learning and discussion for professionals, teachers and students in the field of art and design. .
Exhibitors include those who have attended the event in the past two years, such as the Central Academy of Fine Arts, China Academy of Art, Edinburgh College of Art and New York University Shanghai, as well as newcomers such as French schools. , the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and several Sino-foreign collaboration institutions.
Teachers from the School of Design and Innovation of the Chinese Academy of Arts will present their works to challenge the definition and limits of art, traditional art, design and future design.
Meanwhile, forums in which different schools will participate will cover various topics such as “Font Design” and “Locality in Design Education” to share their in-depth and long-term exploration and thinking in both academic and practical aspects. .
