Studio PCH is currently seeking an Interior Architect / Designer with 1 to 3 years of experience in upscale luxury hospitality and residential design. This position will focus on the development of luxury hotels and private residences, from schematic design to construction. Proximity to Los Angeles required.


  • Bachelor of Interior Design;

  • 1 to 3 years of experience as a member of a design team in an interior design / architecture firm;

  • Hospitality experience;

  • Demonstrates a strong ability to work in a team;

  • Excellent organizational skills and strong communication skills;

  • Ability to be proactive and maintain a positive attitude;

  • Experience in FF&E selection and sourcing and dealing with manufacturers / suppliers;

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD;

  • Proficiency in the Adobe suite;

  • Experience with Sketchup;

  • Experience with Studio Designer an asset (but not required)

  • Applicants must provide a work example that demonstrates applicable work experience.

Responsibilities include:

  • Daily coordination with the director, design coordination and project manager;

  • Develop and document design solutions, from conceptual design to construction documents.

  • Translate conceptual ideas through diagrams, key visualizations, renderings in a presentation package. Develop and assist customer presentations.

  • Experience with drawings, including plans, sections, details and schedules;

  • Coordinate with consultants and manufacturers;

  • Daily search

  • Ensure presentations meet Studio PCH, Inc standards;

  • Assist and coordinate the selection of fabrics, samples, selections of finishes, materials, paints, etc.

  • Experience in purchasing, sourcing and coordinating logistics for all decorative elements of an installation project.

  • Strong conceptual design and schematic design skills

  • Strong verbal and graphic communication skills

  • Experience in research, selection and specification of materials and finishes

  • Experience with furniture selection and specifications

  • Ability to work in a collaborative and open environment

  • Detail oriented, motivated, energetic, organized and eager to learn and adapt.
