After a successful career in landscape and garden design in Melbourne, ROSS GOODMAN moved to Canberra and his new employer, dsb Landscape Architects, couldn’t be happier…

ROSS Goodman has recently been appointed to dsb Landscape Architects as Principal Landscape Architect, said Director Michael Reeves.

After an acclaimed career in landscape and garden design in Melbourne, Ross has moved to Canberra and will enhance dsb’s residential design capability.

Ross has provided landscaping and installation services for premium homes and apartment complexes in Melbourne’s North East suburbs for the past 20 years.

His experience includes the design, documentation and installation of the Coburg project for “Grand Designs Australia”. He won awards for the design and installation of showcase gardens as part of the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show “Place, Grow, Shift”.

Her design of “Lisa’s Garden” for the Festival of Horticulture won a bronze medal. It consisted of an outdoor room with planters, seating and a garden gazebo with bamboo and a selection of Japanese-style plants. He has been featured in magazines such as ‘Landscape Outlook Magazine’ (the magazine of the Australian Institute of Landscape Designers and Managers), ‘Best Homes Melbourne’ and ‘Outdoor Rooms’.

Ross says he is pleased to bring his design experience to new dsb residential projects in Canberra, Illawarra and surrounding areas, while pursuing high profile residential landscape projects in Melbourne.

“We offer a ‘Residential Design Package’, which is an all-inclusive design package specifically designed for our private residential clients,” explains Michael.

“This package provides visually stunning concept sets with 3D visualizations of the design and supporting construction documents suitable for approvals, tenders and construction by the landscape contractor of your choice.

“Services are provided sequentially, from preliminary design to final design, including construction documentation.

“The advantage of this all-inclusive package is that we work closely with the client, project consultants and contractors throughout each phase of the project; ensure a smooth project schedule and a finished product that meets your expectations and your budget.

“In addition to our services, we have a reputable landscaper and pool designer/builder with whom we work closely on our high-end residential projects.

“They meet with the client during initial design concepts and discussions where they can provide early advice, rough cost estimates and general feedback to ensure design intent and budget are met.

“This early and thorough coordination with the team is one of the many benefits of choosing dsb Landscape Architects.”
